Thank you for visiting our web site. We hope that this gives you an accurate impression of the school, its unique and personalised ethos, pupil teacher ratios, and our firm belief that to ignore an individual is unforgivable.
The school, now in its tenth year, believes firmly in developing each individuals needs through outstanding pastoral support, excellent individualised teaching and a growing extra-curricular programme.
We are currently a 5-18 school consisting of a growing Key Stage 1 and 2 department, a thriving Upper School and a Sixth Form that firmly focuses on the individual. We have also built a new nursery for children birth to 5 years, you can access information via Auckland’s web site. We are a 0 to 18yrs co-educational, multi-faith independent school. Consisting also of a new nursery facility (Auckland House) which accepts children 0 - 5yrs of age, also a growing Key Stage 1 and 2.
Our curriculum takes its basis from the National Curriculum, however, we are currently developing a more challenging curriculum where pupils in Year 9 are embarking on GCSE courses in English, Mathematics and Science. We focus on ensuring pupils are focused on the key skills as well as developing their knowledge in the traditional subjects of History, Geography, Spanish, Physical Education and Art. ICT is also extremely strong throughout the school and our brand new ICT suite will only help to develop standards further.
