Our Rooms

Buttercup Room  (0-14 months old)

Buttercup Room lays the foundations for children to explore and enjoy the environment whilst learning through play. Supported by a highly experienced team the children are able to access a range of resources designed to inspire their young developing minds. The emphasis in the Buttercup Room is for children to learn through sensory experiences and physical exploration.

The development of the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is embedded in the planning and the implementation of learning through play, but the emphasis is on the three prime areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The prime areas are Personal, Social and Emotional Development, children are encouraged to form friendships and play with each other, to separate from the main carer and to learn how to be sociable in small groups.

Staff will help the children become more independent with their Physical development is helping the child to explore the environment by crawling and then walking and being able to reach their own toys and activities. The staff team are very aware that children can communicate verbally and non-verbal and will encourage the children to become more confident in their communication skills.

The Buttercup Room enjoys its own outdoor area where the children can explore many activities outside. The children also enjoy outings to the park.

Bluebell  Room  (14-24months old)

Bluebell Room lays the foundations for children to explore and enjoy the environment whilst learning through play. Supported by a highly experienced team the children are able to access a range of resources designed to inspire their young developing minds.

The development of the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is embedded in the planning and the implementation of learning through play within the room.  The children are beginning to make informed choices about which resources they want to use.  Independent child led learning opportunities are encouraged in addition to adult supported structured activities ensure your child can investigate their chosen activities.

This room is the smaller of the two rooms for the children in the 14-24 month age groups and children have access to the large outdoor area that is for use of the children in the 14-24 month age group. The children also enjoy outings to the park.

Daisy  Room  (14-24months)

Daisy Room lays the foundations for children to explore and enjoy the environment whilst learning through play. Supported by a highly experienced team the children are able to access a range of resources designed to inspire their young developing minds.

The development of the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is embedded in the planning and the implementation of learning through play within the room.  The children are beginning to make informed choices about which resources they want to use.

Independent child led learning opportunities are encouraged in addition to adult supported structured activities ensure your child can investigate their chosen activities.

This room is the larger of the two rooms for the children in the 14-24 age groups and has free flow indoor /outdoor play.  The children also enjoy outings to the park.

Daffodil  Room  (24-30 months)

Daffodil Room lays the foundations for a sound mathematical and literacy education. Supported by a highly experienced team the children are able to access a range of resources designed to inspire their young developing minds.

The development of the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is embedded in the planning and the implementation of learning through play within the room.

The children are beginning to make informed choices about which resources they want to use.  Independent child led learning opportunities are encouraged in addition to adult supported structured activities ensure your child can investigate their chosen activities.

This room is the smaller of the two rooms for the children in the 24-36 age groups. The children have access to the large outdoor area that is available to the children in the 24-60 age group. The children also enjoy outings to the park.

Snowdrop Room  (24-30 months)

Snowdrop Room lays the foundations for a sound mathematical and literacy education. Supported by a highly experienced team the children are able to access a range of resources designed to inspire their young developing minds.

This room is the larger of the two rooms for the children in the 24-36 age groups and this room has free-flow indoor/outdoor play. The children also enjoy outings to the park.

We offer free settling in sessions, so before your child starts nursery you will be invited to bring them for short visits prior to their start date. There is no charge for these sessions, and they give you the opportunity to discuss your child’s needs with the staff looking after your child.

Sunflower Room (30 – 36 Months)

The development of the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is embedded in the planning and the implementation of learning through play within the room.

The children are beginning to make informed choices about which resources they want to use.  Independent child led learning opportunities are encouraged in addition to adult supported structured activities ensure your child can investigate their chosen activities.

This room has free-flow indoor/outdoor play. The children also enjoy outings to the park and around the local community.
