The Management Team

My name is Amy Crowder and I am the Deputy Manager.

I joined Auckland House Team in November 2014. I am a level 6 qualified Early Years Practitioner with a Degree in Early Years. I look forward to working alongside your child and provide them with a fun and stimulating time while they are at our nursery.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

As Deputy Manager I will help ensure your child has an enjoyable time while at nursery. I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within their rooms. It is my responsibility as Deputy Manager to ensure each child’s individual needs are being met by their Key Person. I am also the setting SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator), this role ensures children who have additional needs receive the support they need to help ensure children are meeting developmental goals and provides extra support were needed.

The Buttercups Team

Lyndsey Shields

My name is Lyndsey Shields and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in Buttercup Room.

I joined Auckland House team in January 2019 as an Early Years Practitioner. I am now a qualified Level 2 Practitioner. I have a BA Hons in Education and Professional Studies. I have 3 children, Christopher, Ryan and Patrick.

In my spare time I like to take my dogs for a walk, going swimming and spending time together as a family.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Daisy Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. As your child’s key person I am also responsible for maintaining proper records of the child’s development and share these with you as a parent/guardian on a regular basis to ensure that your child is being appropriately cared for.

My name is Molly Hammond and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in the Buttercup Room.

I have joined Auckland House Team in September 2019 as a level 2 practitioner. I have 3 years experience in childcare and working in nursery and childminding settings. During my free time I do a lot of babysitting, spending time with my boyfriend, friends and family.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Buttercup Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. The Daisy Team

My name is Amy Gregory and I will be your child’s key person. I am the Unit Leader in the Daisy and Bluebell Room.

I am a qualified level 6 nursery practitioner with a Degree in Education in Early Years. I have started working in childcare in 2013 and joined Auckland House team in October 2016. I enjoy working with children and look forward to getting to know each child and help them learn and develop whilst in our care.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, swimming and supporting my favourite football team Everton Football Team.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within Daisy Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. My name is Anisah Uddin and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Apprentice in the Daisy Room. I joined Auckland House Team in January 2020 and I am Level 6 Early Years Practitioner. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family and love travelling.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Buttercup Room. Becky Shaw

My name is Becky Shaw and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in the Daisy room.

I joined Auckland House Team in January 2019 as an Apprentice. I am currently working towards my Level 2 Children and young people workforce qualification with TPM.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Daisy Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. My name is Jennifer Kennedy and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in Daisy Room.

I have an honours degree in Early Years Childhood studies and have worked in a variety of Early Years settings. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling and watching sports.

I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Bluebell Room. My name is Laura Hamilton and I will be your child’s key worker. I am an Early Years practitioner. I work in the Daisy room.

I have joined Auckland Team in July 2020, I am a nursery practitioner in the Daisy room. My qualifications include CACHE Diploma level 2 and 3 in childcare.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going shopping and spending time with my little boy.

My name is Tracy Henderson and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in Daisy Room.

I have joined Auckland House team in May 2019. I am a level 3 qualified nursery nurse. I am a mummy to a little boy and enjoy spending time with my family. My favourite pass time is reading and following Liverpool FC .

The Bluebell Team

My name is Kim Hall and I will be your child’s key person.

I am an Early Years Practitioner in Bluebell Room. I am a fully qualified practitioner. I have a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Learning and Development. I joined Auckland House team in May 2010 and really enjoy working with the children.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, family and friends.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Bluebell Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. I joined Auckland House Team in July 2018 as an apprentice and am working towards my Level 2. I am enjoying getting to know the staff and children.

The Snowdrop Team

Carole Nevard

My name is Carole Nevard and I will be your child’s key person. I am the Unit Leader in Snowdrop, Daffodil and Sunflower room.

I joined the Auckland House team in May 2018. I come from a nursery using the curiosity approach, where I was Deputy Manager and room leader for under 2s. The children learnt through loose parts and natural resources. Previous to this I was Deputy Manager at Pepperberry Day Nursery, I was there for 5 Years. Before being at Pepperberry I was an owner/manager at a nursery in North Wales for 10 Years. I am qualified with a foundation degree in childhood studies, and have recently completed my level 5 in management, and hope to continue onto my level 6.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and going to the cinema, also going for walks or swimming and spending time with friends and family.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the nursery. My name is Fanda Thabet and I will be your child’s key worker.

I am an Early Years Practitioner in Snowdrop Room. I joined Auckland Team in October 2017. I am a level 2 qualified Early Years Practitioner and have over 5 years’ experience in working in a nursery. I am currently working towards my Level 3 in Childcare.

I enjoy sport activities, in particular swimming. I speak English and Arabic. I have recently got married and I look forward to starting my own family. I enjoy working with children and seeing them develop throughout the different stages.

My name is Leanne Waugh and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in Snowdrop Room.

I grew up in Alfreton, Derbyshire where I started my journey in childcare by completing my Level 2 Apprenticeship in the Children and Young Peoples Workforce.  Once I’d completed my Level 3 Apprenticeship we decided to move to Liverpool for a new start.

When I moved to Liverpool,  I joined the Auckland House Team in October 2019. I’m very happy to be part of the team and I hope I’m able to create strong and lasting relationships with yourselves and your children.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Snowdrop Room. It is my responsibility as a key person to meet the needs of each individual child and respond sensitively to his/her feelings, ideas and behaviour. The Sunflower Team

My name is Chloe Chiocchi and I will be your child’s key person. I am an Early Years Practitioner in the Sunflower Room.

I joined Auckland House Team in August 2018. I have recent experience in nurseries and hope to put that to good use here at Auckland House Day Nursery. I have graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Educational Needs in 2017. I also have a Level 1 certificate in British sign language.  I look forward to encouraging the children to grow and flourish within a secure and happy environment.

As a key person I will help your child to become familiar with the nursery and to feel confident and safe within the Buttercup Room. I am an Early Years Practitioner in Sunflower Room.I joined Auckland House team in July 2017 and I have now gained my Level 2 qualification in Early Years.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends and my niece and nephew. At weekends I enjoy going to the cinema with my boyfriend, eating out and watching TV.

The Daffodil Team

My name is Amy McHugh and I will be your child’s key worker.

I am an Early Years Practitioner in the Daffodil Room I  joined Auckland Team in September 2017. I have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and Level 2 in Childcare.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I live with my parents and my brother and my sister. I love visiting my nan and spending time together.

I am an Early Years Practitioner in Daffodil Room.I have started working in childcare in 2011 and joined Auckland House team in July 2012. I am a level 3 qualified practitioner and I adore working with babies and young children.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my partner, family and friends and I am currently buying my own family home and looking forward to building a future with my partner and planning to have my own children soon.

I am an Early Years Trainee in Daffodil Room.I joined Auckland House team in July 2017. I am currently working towards gaining my level 2 in Childcare at College. I have always had a passion for working with children from a very early age, and I would like to pursue a future career in working with children.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and my dogs.

Supporting Staff

My name is Siobhan Hubbard and I will be your child’s key person.

I am an Early Years Practitioner for the nursery. I am a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner and hold a Diploma for Children and Young People’s Workforce which I have gained in 2012. I joined Auckland House team in January 2014 and I enjoy working alongside my colleagues to provide a safe and stimulating environment for all the children in or care.

I have a beautiful boy who is nearly 2 years old. In my spare time I love spending time with my family. I enjoy days out with my son and having fun together.

My name is Anna-Lea Larkin. I am an Early Years Bank Staff for the nursery. I joined the Auckland House team in January 2014. I have completed my Level 3 Diploma in Early Years at Southport College.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the cinema, eating out, going to the church or having a relaxed time listening to music and watching the TV.

 

 

My name is Emily Flynn-McCabe. I am an Early Years Bank staff in Auckland House nursery

I joined the Auckland House team in January 2020. I am currently studying at university. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the cinema and eating out.

 

 

My name is Abbie Golling. I am an Early Years Apprentice for the Nursery. I have joined Auckland Team in July 2020. I am looking to do an apprenticeship working towards a level 2 in Childcare. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going shopping and going out for food.

Lunchtime Assistants

My name is Danielle Egerton and I am a Lunchtime assistant in the Daisy Room.

I have joined Auckland House Team in September 2019. My role as a lunchtime assistant is to assist the children with their lunch time meal, make up the beds for after they have eaten and carry out hygiene routines to ensure the room is clean and tidy for the children when they wake up from their nap. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my little girl and my family and friends.

 

 

 

My name is Alana and I am a Lunchtime Assistant.

I joined Auckland House team in November 2017. I enjoy working with the children and helping support them in their learning and development.

I am a mum to a little girl and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

 

My name is Liz Russell. I am an Early Years Lunchtime assistant for the nursery.

I have joined Auckland Team in November 2018.

I work in all rooms in the nursery as bank staff and in the 2-3 unit during lunch time. I love being with children and my own grandchildren have been in the nursery or currently attend.

In my spare time if I am not with my Grandchildren I enjoy walking my dog Morag, reading an gardening.
