On Thursday we had the pleasure of Peter Kenny Jones, a local Author, visit our school.
Mr Jones spoke to the children about his journey on becoming an author and the importance of relating the reading and writing to something you are passionate about. The children were very engaged and had lots of questions that they asked the Author. Mr Jones was very impressed with our Auckland College students and how enthusiastic their approach was to the workshop. Auckland College students also had the opportunity to purchase the latest book Mr Jones wrote, Crossing the Park, and have this signed by the Author. What a fantastic experience!
