Today, we proudly recognised the outstanding achievements of our Auckland College students with the esteemed Junior Duke and Senior Duke Awards. The ceremony was a momentous occasion as we celebrated the accomplishments of our young talents in both the Prep Department and the Secondary Department with students from Year 7 and Year 8 that took part.
It was a delight to witness the impressive challenges our students conquered, demonstrating their dedication and commitment to personal growth. Among the remarkable achievements, we were touched by the heart-warming effort of a Year 5 boy who skilfully knitted a beautiful scarf. This remarkable creation will be thoughtfully transformed into a cosy blanket, destined to bring comfort and warmth to disadvantaged children in Africa.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our students for their determination and perseverance in embracing these wonderful challenges. The Junior Duke and Senior Duke Awards symbolize not only academic excellence, but also a spirit of compassion and community engagement.
