Our PTA arranged some fantastic events for our pupils just before the Easter break, including a sponsored Bunny Bounce for our Early Years – Year 2 pupils and a movie night for Year 3 – Year 6. Both events created a wonderful buzz around the school in the final week of term. Both events combined, raised just over £1000, which is amazing and will be used to further improve the technology around the school.
As well as this, our PTA wanted to give back to the local community and sought to make contact with The Whitechapel Centre on Belvidere Road to see how we could help. We decided to hold an Easter Egg drive and were able to deliver a donation of 61 Easter eggs to the centre for the 50 children they were currently supporting.
